4200 Riverview Blvd. Bradenton—Waterfront Heaven

With its lush and mature greenery and the sparkling waters of the Manatee River and the various bayous, Riverview Boulevard in North West Bradenton is a little piece of paradise. A Part of Sarasota History

The property itself is an important part of Sarasota history, having once been the residence of Dr. W.D. Sugg, a man to whom the cultural life of Sarasota owes so much. Dr. Sugg was one of the founders of the South Florida Museum, the Sarasota Orchestra and the New College of Florida. He purchased a significant portion of land along the south bank of the Manatee River in the 1930's. Over the years most of it was sold off, but this part he kept for his private residence, as he believed it was the most beautiful part.
