Anna Maria Island
Ana Maria Island is the northernmost of the barrier islands in the Sarasota area. It is divided into three cities, Anna Maria to the north, Holmes Beach in the Centre and Bradenton Beach in the south. The island has the laid back feel of an Old Florida beach town.
Bird Key
Bird Key is an island in Sarasota Bay, linked to the mainland by John Ringling Causeway. It’s a small community of luxury homes with a great location, convenient to both Armand’s Circle and Downtown Sarasota.
Bradenton
Bradenton is just north of Sarasota and stretches along the Manatee River. West Bradenton is the older part of the community, and is popular because its proximity to the beach. East Bradenton is home to a number of newer neighborhoods including the Lakewood Ranch golf community.
Casey Key
Casey Key is a barrier island in Nokomis, to the south of Sarasota. Almost all homes here are waterfront and in the luxury price range.

Lido Key

Palmer Ranch
Palmer Ranch is a golf course community located just south of Sarasota. It consists of nine neighborhoods including Huntington Pointe, which is close to the beach and Savannah at Turtle Rock which is a development of maintenance-free single family homes.
Osprey

Sarasota Climate
Sarasota is warm and sunny all year round. In the winter the temperature is typically 65 - 70 degrees Fahrenheit (18-21 Celsius for Canadians!) and in the summer cool Gulf breezes keep the temperature between 72 and 90 (22-32 Celsius). The winter months are generally dry, while in the summer we often get afternoon thunderstorms.

Sarasota offers excellent healthcare options and Sarasota Memorial Hospital, which is centrally located in Downtown Sarasota, is considered one of the top hospitals in the state.
Sarasota Transport
You can fly directly to Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport, daily from several US hubs and from Toronto. Tampa International is just an hour away and offers direct daily flights to over a hundred national and international destinations.
Driving time to Tampa is an hour, Orlando is 2 hours and to Miami is about 3.5 hours.

Country Club of Sarasota
The Country Club of Sarasota community is conveniently located on the East side of Beneva Road between Clark Road and the Tamiami Trail.
This gated community of single family homes does not require mandatory country club membership. So golfer and non-golfers alike enjoy living in this community of generously proportioned home sites and diverse floor plans. Lakewood Ranch Golf & Country Club
The Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club is located in the master planned community of Lakewood Ranch in southeastern Manatee County of Florida.
The stunning collection of homes that comprise this gated community are built around the 54-hole private Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club and the Athletic Center.

Sarasota Beaches
Sarasota Beaches are something Sarasota has in abundance. Probably the most famous is Siesta Beach, which is frequently cited as the best in the country.
